How the tracker works
The details that do not need to sit between you and the current free games.
Are these free to keep forever?
Yes. Everything listed on the tracker is free to claim and keep permanently, not a free weekend. Once claimed, it stays in your library after the offer ends.
Free-to-play games, demos and temporary play weekends are not included.
When do the free games change?
Epic normally rotates its giveaway on Thursdays. Steam free-to-keep promotions do not follow one fixed schedule. GOG giveaways are less frequent and often shorter.
The tracker checks all three stores automatically and sorts current offers by which known deadline arrives first.
Do I need to install anything?
No extra HipDiscovery software is required. You claim the offer with a free account on the store running it. Epic and Steam can be claimed through their store or launcher; GOG also offers DRM-free downloads for supported games.
Why is a store sometimes missing?
A store may genuinely have no free-to-keep offer running. If a store cannot be reached during the latest check, the tracker says so instead of treating that failure as proof that nothing is free.
